Simrin Bakshi, our founder, is a multifaceted individual with a passion for art and a commitment to social causes. She established her interior design firm in 2006, delivering personalized spaces for exclusive high-end clients. Simrin is a learner, businesswoman, award-winning social entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She leads various initiatives as a patron and founder of organizations that support the homeless, vulnerable, and socially isolated individuals. Simrin’s dedication to creating an inclusive community led her to identify education as a catalyst for a more empathetic world, which inspired her to establish Vedanya.

With over three decades of experience in education, media, communication, and private equity, Nishchint Chawla brings a wealth of knowledge to Vedanya. He has held strategic positions at The Heritage Schools, EuroSchools, and The Bal Bharti Public School system, where he mentored leadership teams and guided curriculum development. Nishchint’s passion for exploration and learning has also seen him serve as the President of US Operations at Rediff.com and COO at Radio Today. His extensive insights and guidance benefit educational institutions and corporate organizations, with a particular focus on mentoring in the social impact sector.

Air Vice Marshal LN Sharma, AVSM, Senior Vice President, Vedanya Education AVM Sharma is a senior Administrator and Educator with over four decades of experience across entire spectrum of education He worked extensively in the field of Institutional Governance and Teacher Professional Development. He led and administered some of the finest K-12 schools in India.

He aims to establish the 'Vedanya Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education’; thereby empowering educators.

Sudeshna Sengupta is an experienced educational leader with almost four decades of expertise. She has held key positions at renowned institutions, including St. Xavier’s Collegiate School, École Mondiale World School, and JBCN International Group of Schools. Sudeshna’s proficiency extends to curriculum development, professional development workshops for educators, and her involvement in the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm. At Vedanya, she oversees the academic framework’s development, implementation, and evolution and mentors and supports educators.

Punam, an experienced educator with 35 years of experience, brings her expertise in curriculum design and teaching across middle to senior school levels.
As a former Vice Principal and Principal, she cultivated a thought-provoking community. At Vedanya, she continues to nurture growth and learning.
